Stories I tell.

I love creating worlds and filling them with characters who feel as complicated, imperfect, and human as the people around us. For me, writing is a chance to explore lives beyond my own, to ask questions I don't always have the answers to, and to build stories that give both audiences and performers somewhere unexpected to go.

I'm also deeply aware of who gets invited into those stories. I want to create meaningful, layered roles for performers who have too often been overlooked or limited by the kinds of opportunities traditionally available to them. I don't believe someone's age, background, body, or identity should determine whether they get to be the hero, the romantic lead, the complicated one, the funny one, or simply the person whose story gets told.

At the heart of it, I write because I love stories. I love building worlds, discovering the people who live inside them, and creating a place where more of us get the chance to be seen.
